摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce the consumption of liquid crystals in the injection process of the liquid crystals by injecting the liquid crystals contained in a vessel by using capillarity. SOLUTION: The liquid crystals 4 contained in the vessel 10 are injected by using the capillarity. The vessel 10 of this device is a rectangular parallelepiped bored with a notch having a difference in level and is formed with the difference in level between the inner bottom surface and inner flank of the vessel 10. The bottom surface of the vessel 10 enclosed by this difference in level allows the fitting of the bottom surface of a base 20 and plays the role of fixing this base 20. In the case the liquid crystals 4 are injected by using this device, the liquid crystals 4 are poured into the vessel 10 on which the base 20 is placed and fixed. The amt. of the liquid crystals 4 to be poured into the vessel 10 is confined to, for example, <=10 cc. If the liquid crystals are injected in such a manner, the liquid crystals 4 contained in the vessel 10 move to the upper surface by passing the slender grooves disposed on the flanks of the base 20 and accumulate at the point where the grooves intersect. The accumulated liquid crystals 4 have the shape projected to the upper side by surface tension and the liquid crystals 4 at the respective intersection points are gathered and are uniformly distributed on the upper surface.</p>
