PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift controller of an electric transmission which is excellent in operability. SOLUTION: A neutral detecting part 81 outputs a signal of an 'H' level when a gear is located at a neutral location. A speed deciding part 82 outputs the signal of the 'H' level when speed is 10 km/h or more. An engine speed deciding part 83 outputs the signal of the 'H' level when engine speed is 3,000 rpm or more. An OR circuit 84 outputs the signal of the 'H' level when the output of the speed deciding part 82 or the engine speed deciding part 83 is on the 'H' level. An AND circuit 85 outputs the signal of the 'H' level when the output of the OR circuit 84 and the output of the neutral detecting part 81 are on the 'H' levels. A shift inhibiting part 86 inhibits a shift when the output of the AND circuit 85 is on the 'H' level.
