PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a moquette pile textile having a soft feeling, hardly causing a finger mark or whitening of the surface of the pile, excellent in resistance to falling down of piles, and covering properties, and further having a deep tint rich in high class feeling. SOLUTION: This moquette pile textile has a pile part constituted of a fiber comprising >=20 wt.% fiber having a W-shaped cross section, and the fiber having the W-shaped cross section has a modifying rate K satisfying the formula 1.1<=K<=3.0, depths (d) of the convex parts satisfying the formula; 2.0μm<=(d)<=10μm, an angular apertureθsatisfying the formula; 40 deg.<θ<=90 deg., and a single yarn size D satisfying the formula; 1.5 d<=D<=6.0 d.
