PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject silicone rubber compound useful for building materials, medical instruments, etc., in a short time and by a simple operation, by mixing and homogenizing an organopolysiloxane raw rubber, a reinforcing silica filter and a processing assistant, continuously feeding the obtained mixture to art kneading extruder and continuously heat treating the extruded compound. SOLUTION: This production of heat-curing silicon rubber compounds is to feed (A) 100 pts.wt. of an organopolysiloxane raw rubber, (B) 5-100 pts.wt. of a reinforcing silica filler and (C) 0.1-30 pts.wt. of a processing assistant to a batch-wise closed mixer (preferably a pressurized kneader mixer, an internal mixer and a Banbury mixer), mix and homogenize at a room temperature to 150 deg.C, continously feed the obtained mixture to a kneading extruder and continuously heattreating the extruded compound at 150-250 deg.C. |
