PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a defect that a hose composed mainly of a vinyl chloride resin is easily contracted to increase pressure loss while preventing a hose composed mainly of a polyester thermoplastic polyurethane resin, from being degraded by ultraviolet rays and lowered in various physical properties by hydrolysis. SOLUTION: A coating layer 5 formed of a soft vinyl chloride resin is fusion- integrated with at least one face of a main body layer 4 formed of a polyester thermoplastic polyurethane resin, to form a laminated tape. This laminated tape is spirally wound, and the adjacent side edges are jointed to each other to form a hose wall 2. The hose wall 2 is reinforced and kept in shape by a hard spiral reinforcing body 3 to form a hose 1. The hose 1 fixed in a contracted state is subjected to ten continuous cycles of a thermal cycle test with two-hour exposure in an atmosphere of 70 deg.C and then two-hour exposure in an atmosphere of -20 deg.C as one cycle. The shrinking percentage of hose length of the hose 1 put back into a natural state after being left under ordinary temperature for one hour after the thermal cycle test is to be 25% or less.
|
