<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find out a prohibited article concealed under a cloth using a weak millimetric wave which does not transmit through the cloth to cause injury to a human body. SOLUTION: The millimetric wave detector comprises a millimetric wave transceiver 4 for transmitting a millimetric wave and receiving a reflected wave from a prohibited article an ultrasonic sensor 7 for measuring the distance to an examinee a CCD camera 3 for picking up a visible image of the examinee, and a processor 5. A brightness image of reflected millimetric wave is superposed on the visible image of the examinee picked by the CCD camera 3 on the display 6 of the processor 5.</p> |
