PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the temperature of inlet air to a cooler at low temperature by intermittently turning on an electric heater located between a blower and an air outlet under the temperature of air sucked from an air inlet. SOLUTION: Indoor air is sucked from an air inlet in the front of a dehumidifier as shown by an arrow by a blower 8 arranged in the rear part of a cooler 5 and an evaporator 6 and discharged from an air outlet in the upper side of a rear part. An electric heater 9 is disposed on the upper part of the blower 8 to heat air passing through the cooler 5 and a condenser 6. An inlet thermistor 13 for detecting the temperature of inlet air is provided on the rear surface of an inlet port 14 formed on an upper box 1. Further, a discharge thermistor 15 for detecting the temperature of discharge air is provided in a discharge port 16 formed in the upper part of the electric heater 9 and in the upper part of the rear surface of the upper box 1. The electric heater 9 is controlled by outlet and inlet temperature, so that high temperature discharge air can be discharged.
