PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition hardly changing in color, excellent in transparency, antistatic properties, mechanical strength, weather solution, etc., useful for a head lamp lens for automobile, by including a polycarbonate resin, a sulfonic acid phosphonium salt, etc., in a specific ratio. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polycarbonate resin with (B) 0.0001-10 pts.wt. of a sulfonic acid phosphonium salt such as dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid phosphonium salt, etc., and (C) 0.0001-1 pt.wt. of a phosphite in a molten state by an extruder, etc. Further, the composition may contain an ultraviolet light absorber such as a benzotriazole-based ultraviolet light absorber. A phosphorous ester such as a triaryl phosphite combined with a phosphite can be used as the component C. The component is useful as a cover and a lens for various lighting instruments, a transparent film, a transparent sheet, a base for an optical disc, its cartridge, etc. |
