PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition of compact type that is useful for hard surfaces as for kitchen or for body or hair, shows mild skin stimulation, excellent detergency and cold storage stability. SOLUTION: This liquid detergent composition contains 30-50 wt.% of a surfactant composition that comprises (a) 8-25 wt.% of higher fatty acid mono- and/or diethanolamide and (b) 8-25 wt.% of an alcohol ethoxylate where the ratio of the component (a) to the component (b) is 1/2-2/1 and the total amount of them is 16-40 wt.%, and contains (c) 1-8 wt.% of an aromatic carboxylic acid or its salts of one or more kinds, (d) 0-8 wt. % of an aromatic sulfonic acid or its salts of one or more kinds where the weight ratio of the component (c) becomes >= the component (d). |
