PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the wear resistance under non-lubricating or water- lubricating conditions of a tetrafluoroethylene resin composition, which was not high enough in the conventional tetrafluoroethylene resin composition added with a filler, to provide a tetrafluoroethylene resin composition showing a high wear resistance under such lubrication conditions and to use this composition for a non-lubricated or water-lubricated slide-component material. SOLUTION: A tetrafluoroethylene resin composition is prepared by mixing from 50 to 97 wt.% tetrafluoroethylene resin and from 3 to 33 wt.%, phenol resin obtained by curing a prepolymer containing a reactive methylol group. Here, the phenol resin is in a globular state and has an average particle size of from 1 to 200μm. Furthermore, the tetrafluoroethylene resin composition is added with a carbon fiber to improve its creep resistance and dimensional stability. |
