PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin compsn. excellent in mechanical strengths and coatability by compounding a water-soluble, thermally melt- moldable PVA polymer, a polyamide resin, an ethylene-unsatd. carboxylic acid copolymer or its ionomer and a thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: This compsn. comprises a water-soluble, thermally melt-moldable PVA polymer (e.g. PVA) pref. having a degree of polymn. of 500-8,000, a polyamide (e.g. nylon 6, 12) pref. contg. a nylon 6 component and having an m.p. of 240 deg.C or lower, an ethylene-unsatd. carboxylic acid copolymer pref. having an unsatd. carboxylic acid content of 2-15 mol.% or an ionomer thereof prepd. by using Zn as the metal ion (e.g. an ionomer of an ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer prepd. by using Zn as the ion) and a thermoplastic resin, pref. a polyolefin resin (e.g. PP). |
