SOLUTION: Many pilot holes 10 are digged on a tunnel wall scheduled line in the soil 2 from a second construction pit 8 toward a first construction pit 6 to install a casing string 16. The casing string 16 is connected with a tip of a tunnel wall construction device 30 which has a cross section equal to that of a part of a tunnel wall and is provided with a vibration unit in a conical front end part to pull it by a traction means 32 toward the second construction pit 8. At this time, the friction between the soil 2 and the tunnel wall construction device 30 is reduced due to the vibration and the injection of fluid supplied through the casing string 16. A wall material is jetted into a rear gap of the tunnel wall construction device 30 to construct the tunnel wall. Since the earth and sand inside a tunnel are digged out after the construction is completed, it is possible to avoid the collapse and sinking of the ground and construct the tunnel continuously.
