PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain good surface properties of excellent adhesion property to a photosensitive layer, printing durability, contamination preventing property, and film strength which gives easy handling property to the printing plate with a stable coating speed for good productivity, by applying a photosensitive material having specified viscosity according to the shear rate, and having specified surface tension and specific gravity under specified conditions on a substrate which is roughened into a specified state. SOLUTION: The roughened substrate has pits of 0.3 to 4μm size with 1×10<5> to 1×10<7> /mm<2> dtstribution, and the physical property measured with an atomic force microscope shows that profiles with >=30 deg. gradient are included by 5 to 40% in the distribution of surface profiles. Then a photosensitlve material is applied on the substrate in 1 to 100 cc/m<2> wet coating amt. at 10 to 150 m/min coating speed. The photosensitive material has 0.7 to 100 cp viscosity for <100 l/sec shear rate and 0.7 to 60 cp viscosity for 100 to 100,000 l/sec shear rate, and has 25 to 50 dyne/cm surface tension and 0.8 to 1.2 specific gravity. |
