PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising a polyester-based copolymer thermoplastic elastomer and a block copolymer of an aromatic vinyl compound and a conjugated compound, excellent in molding processability, mechanical strength, etc., and hardly causing surface peeling when elongating by improving compatibility by heightening the reactivity therebetween, and reducing deterioration of the polyester-based copolymer thermoplastic elastomer in the time of melting and kneading thereof when producing the composition. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic elastomer composition comprises (A) 20-90 wt.% polyester-based copolymer thermoplastic elastomer, and (B) 80-10 wt.% modified hydrogenated block copolymer obtained by reacting 100 pts.wt. hydrogenated material of a block copolymer of an aromatic vinyl compound and a conjugated diene compound with 0. 01-100 pts.wt.α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid ester compound containing an epoxy group, having a spacer having two or more atomic lengths/between the epoxy group and the ester group in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator.
