BOBBIN CASE REPLACING APPARATUS

A bobbin case replacing apparatus (1) which is provided with carrying means (4) for carrying a bobbin case (3) to the position where it is chucked by a chuck. This carrying means (4) comprises a replacing cassette (7) to which bobbin cases (3) are attached at regular intervals; a cassette rotating body (9) which supports this replacing cassette (7) and on which index feeding pins (8) are arranged at regular intervals; a one-way clutch (10) for rotating this cassette rotating body (9) in only one direction; an indexing actuator (11) horizontally disposed and moving in a telescopic manner; and an indexing movable member (12) moved by this indexing actuator (11) in a telescopic manner. This indexing movable member (12) is provided with an indexing pawl (13) consisting of a leaf spring, and a regulating section (14) which comes into contact with the index feeding pin (8) when stopped. When the indexing movable member (12) extends or contracts, the indexing pawl (13) pushes the index feeding pin (8) to rotate the cassette rotating body (9) and the replacing cassette (7) by a prescribed angle.
