<p>The contact carrier has an arrangement which, when pressed down onto the contact carrier, presses the inserted wire into the clamp. The contact carrier (1) is formed to separably switch through incoming and outgoing leads. The arrangements (2,3) which press the wires into the clamp each engage both incoming wires and wires which are continuing further. The mechanism for pressing the incoming wire into the clamp preferably includes a pivotal cover (2) hinged to the contact carrier (1). The mechanism for pressing the continuing wires into the clamp preferably includes a button (3). Preferably, the pivotal cover and the button can be unlocked so that the button can be moved from is pressed down state to a separating intermediate position. The clamp contact cooperating with the button can be moved between a switching position and a separating position.</p> |
