Automobile internal combustion engine control method

摘要

The engine control method compares the maximum engine torque determined by the position of an operating element controlled by the driver with the actual engine torque, for activating a fault reaction procedure when the maximum engine torque is exceeded, in which the torque comparison is replaced by a different monitoring function, e.g. the mass air flow to the engine. An Independent claim is included for a control device for an automobile IC engine.
