<p>A nonimaging solar collector (10). A method and article of manufacture of a solar collector (10) includes an outer housing (24) transparent to light, a reflector element (32) positioned asymmetrically within the outer housing (24), an absorber (28) disposed within the outer housing (24), and a heat conduction fin (30) coupled to the absorber and having a wedge shape which tapers to a smaller thickness as a function of increasing radial separation from the absorber (28).
