Spray washing method for vehicles

The vehicle washing process involves spraying a pH 5.5-7 aqueous solution onto the vehicle which forms a negative pole so as to create an electric field between the relatively-moving sprayhead and vehicle, such that ca.1-2% surfactant and ca. 3-5% 3-dimensionally crosslinked acrylamide/acrylic acid copolymer are added to the aqueous solution. The vehicle is finally rinsed with water.TF - TECHNOLOGY FOCUS - POLYMERS - A K or Na salt of the polymer is used and after rinsing with water the vehicle is sprayed with a known wax to which 10% polyethylenedioxythiophene (PEDT) has been added.
