A method and device are described which allow an ISDN subscriber to forward incoming calls to a third party using a control device at the subscriber. To forward a call, a connection is set up on an idle B-channel to the third party and interconnecting the incoming an outgoing calls by means of the control device. Calls can be forwarded in dependence upon the type of call (speech, fax, etc.) or upon the origin of the call. Incoming fax messages can be converted to e-mail messages. |
