A high temperature radiant heating furnace has its chamber (1) connected to a circulation fan (11) by valve slides (9). An Independent claim is also included for binder removal and/or reactive removal of matter from material surfaces with subsequent heating of the material to high temperature, initially by convective heat transfer and then by radiant heat transfer.
