Ring spinner drive

The drive system, for a ring spinner, has a link from the second drive motor (3) to the control (25) through a second rotary speed setter (21). The second speed monitor (29) is connected directly to the first speed setter (20). Both speed setters (20,21) are inter linked electrically. The second motor (3) is the main drive motor, as a three-phase induction motor. The speed setters (20,21) are frequency converters (23,24), or the first setter (20) is a servo control unit, and the second setter (21) is a frequency converter. The frequency converter (24) for the second drive motor (3) is connected directly to the three-phase power supply (26), and has a multiple of the power of the frequency converter (23) at the first drive motor (1), such as 50 kW to 1 kW. The frequency converter (23) for the first drive motor (1) is coupled to an intermediate DC circuit (27), which links the frequency converter (24) at the second motor (3) to the control (25). The first monitor (28) transmits absolute values, and the second monitor (29) transmits incremental values.
