Switch mode power supply for audio-video equipment

The power supply has an on-mode and a stand-by mode. The circuit includes a series-parallel resonant converter with a half-bridge. In 'on' mode, the switching frequency is defined by capacitors on the primary side, while when in stand-by mode the frequency is defined by capacitors on the secondary side. A series resonance converter is also claimed, in which a current is drawn from the mains via a network (CP17,LP15,DP15) depending on a voltage on a series resonant capacitor (Cs).
