Machine tool for timber panels

The machine has panel transporters (15) with at least two reference elements (17), which are moved independently of each other in the panel transportation direction (8). The elements engage selectively and independently on the front and rear panel (2) panel edges respectively, corresponding to the direction, and then move in that direction, so that the panel is moved forwards on an advance surface (P). The transporters have drive elements to move the reference elements along a guide (16).
