The structural parts coming in contact with the refrigerant, particularly the walls forming the flow path between the suction area (4) and the outlet area (5), are heat-insulated in relation to the refrigerant. The heat insulation (7) is provided on the inner wall of the suction channel (9), and takes the form of foam with open pores. The housing cover is of low heat conductivity and can be of a very strong steel or a ceramic material.
