<p>The pumping unit comprises a pump (5) with a suction strainer (6) and a pressure housing (3) containing a filter cartridge (4). The housing supports the pump, the filter and a pipe (17) connecting the pump to the housing, while the latter is suspended by an elastic component (8) inside a chamber (2) containing a reserve of fuel. The housing is equipped with a pressure regulator (7) for the fuel entering or leaving it, and is made in two molded and welded sections (3a,3b) containing the filter cartridge. One of the sections (3b) has recesses (3e,3f) for the pressure regulator and connectors (3d,3g,3h) for pipes (17,18,19). The elastic suspension element is molded in one piece from a plastics or elastomer material.</p> |
