Filter belt dryer

A belt dryer with sprayed material application, is based on an endless belt passing over return rollers. Its upper strand is led over a resting surface. This carries product, preferably sprayed onto the belt, through drying and cooling zones for which purposes air is passed through product layer and belt. It is led away beneath the belt. The running belt has an edge-alignment system, and a belt cleaning system. V-belts are fastened to each side of the belt for guidance. Each V-belt engages in a V-shaped annular groove formed in the return rollers.
