PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core for a weather strip to improve productivity by loosening a product tolerance through provision with stretchability in a longitudinal direction without the occurrence of a twist and shape collapse even when the weather strip is curved in any direction. SOLUTION: A core 1 of an weather strip is embedded in the weather strip and stretchability of the weather strip is suppressed, and processed from, for example, a metallic strip. The development shape of the core 1 comprises rectangular body plates 2 arranged orthogonally to the longitudinal direction of the weather strip and in parallel to each other; and a plurality of inclining bridging board 3 coupling each of a plurality of body plates 2 at an inclination angle θwith a longitudinal direction. A plurality of the adjoining inclination bridging boards 3 are intercoupled in a zigzagging state to incline in a reverse direction to each other relative to a longitudinal direction. |
