PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indwelling basket for an endoscope which can be indwelled in a constrictive part per-endoscopically to release the constrictive state, and be easily removed from the constrictive part per-endoscopically at need. SOLUTION: At least three elastic wires 11 are tied together at the leading and trailing ends so that the wires are formed to be swollen like a basket by their own elasticity in the natural state and contracted by the external force, a tail-like member 14 is extended backward from the tying part of the trailing ends, and a recovery instrument engaging part 16 where a recovery instrument inserted and removed in and from a treatment instrument insert channel of an endoscope for use is engaged is formed on the extended end side of the trail-like member 14.
