PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently process each groove excellent in parallelism over both surfaces parallel with the shaft of a work piece in an axial shape. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a table 1 capable of being freely moved in the horizontal X direction, paired spindle heads 21 which support grinding wheels 6 having their rotation axial centers directed to the vertical Z direction and can be freely moved in the horizontal Y direction normal to the X direction, a measuring device 27, and with a grinding fluid feeding device 52, and the paired spindle heads 21 are disposed to one side of the moving range of the table 1 while a line connecting the axial centers of grinding wheel spindles is directed to the Y direction, the measuring device 27 is disposed to the other side of the moving range of the table 1, and the grinding fluid feeding device 52 is disposed to the measuring device 27 side of the main spindle heads 21, so that processing both the surfaces of a work piece 5 and the measurement of a processing part are thereby performed over the table. |
