PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide salmon snack food that is removed its fishy or raw smell, remains the intrinsic relish of salmon, can be readily served as it is, and retains delicious and soft meat texture and beautiful color as snack. SOLUTION: This salmon snack is prepared by slicing and frying raw salmon meat and has some 20-30% of water content. The fishy smell of raw salmon meat and the hardness of flesh fibers, when it is dried, are dissolved and is made more storable for a longer period by dehydration, but not excessive drying remains a proper level of moisture whereby the soft meat texture is retained to make the snack delicious and relish. The sliced raw salmon meat may be seasoned, too. |
