PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change lubricant and inspect the amount of the lubricant. SOLUTION: An opening centered on a proper level of lubricant is provided on the side of a crank case for an engine, an extension pipe 40 extended to the side face of a cover for the engine is mounted to the opening, a liquid level inspecting window member 42 is provided at the free end of the extension pipe 40 and an inspection hole 41 through which the liquid level inspecting window member 42 is visible is provided corresponding to the liquid level inspecting window member 42 on the side face of the cover. In this way, the amount of lubricant can be inspected in the condition that an outboard motor is mounted on a hull, without removing the cover. |
