PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for vulcanizing an elastomer article which can improve productivity by curtailing the vulcanization molding time of the whole and control the generation of the foaming of rubber incorporated, and a vulcanization apparatus. SOLUTION: An apparatus for vulcanizing an elastomer article is equipped with a mold 3 into which the elastomer article is set, a medium supply route 4 for supplying heating and pressurizing media into the article, a medium discharge route 5 for discharging the medium in the article, and a control means 25 which is installed in the discharge route 5 and controls the pressure in the article. In a method for the vulcanization, after the heating medium being supplied into the article for a heating process, the pressurizing medium is supplied for a pressurizing process. In the pressurizing process, the pressure in the article is reduced step by step to a prescribed pressure, and a medium discharge process is done when the pressure reaches a prescribed value. |
