PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To high efficiently decompose dioxins by heating an absorbent in an oxygen-deficient state of equal to or below a specific oxygen concentration or in an inert atmosphere in the presence of an alkali component at a specific temp. for a specific time in a reaction vessel filled with the carbonaceous adsorbent, on which dioxins are adsorbed. SOLUTION: A parallel flow type pyrolysis plant A is a shell and tube heat exchanger having a heating part at the upper part and a cooling part at the lower part and the carbonaceous adsorbent 1, on which dioxin is adsorbed, is charged from the upper part of the device A through a seal valve 8. And in such a case, an inert gas is introduced from an inlet 2 and the carbonaceous adsorbent 1 is heated by an hot air supplied from an inlet 4. And the carbonaceous adsorbent 1 is cut by a roll feeder 10. In such a case, ammonia gas is mixed with a carrier gas and fed from the inlet 2 and the carbonaceous adsorbent 1 is treated with the injected ammonia gas at >=350 deg.C for >=1 hr. As a result, a salt is formed with chlorine and the decomposition of dioxin is effectively performed.
|
