PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To individually wash a used plate cylinder at the successive production of a plurality of items by a method wherein a plurality of printing units are used dividedly. SOLUTION: This printing machine is equipped with a main motor 12 for rotatingly driving a first and a second plate cylinders 10A and 10B belonging respectively to a plurality of printing units 1 and 2, and clutches 20A and 20B, which connect and disconnect rotatingly driving forces respectively transmitting to the main motor 12 to and from the respective plate cylinders 10A and 10B. In this case, sub-motors 22A and 22B, which rotatingly drive the respective plate cylinders 10A and 10B, which connect and disconnect rotatingly driving forces respectively transmitting from the sub-motors to the respective plate cylinders 10A and 10B, are equipped in systems independent from the main motor 12. |
