PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a webbing winding device to simplify and reduce the size of the structure of a mechanism to reduce the tensile force of the webbing when the webbing is used after drawing of the webbing. SOLUTION: In this webbing winding device, a wheel gear 70 on the shaft side interlocked with a spool for winding webbing and a wheel gear 58 on the spring side interlocked with a spring 56 are interconnected through a connector means 78 to transmit a rotation force and make a relative rotation free in a specified range. By effecting operation by a release means 108, switch and connection means 90 and 92 to transmit and cut off a shifted rotation force is mounted therebetween. Only during a specified range between a time, in which operation to draw webbing is varied to rewinding operation, and a time during free rotation of the connection means 78, a rotation force decelerated by the switch and connection means 90 and 92 is transmitted to the wheel gear 70 on the shaft side. |
