<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To crean polluted air with simple construction without needing special control. SOLUTION: The lower part of a vessel 1 is fabricated as a cleaning liquid tank 4, and the upper side thereof is divided into an inflow chamber 5 and an outflow chamber 7 whose lower ends are opened to the cleaning liquid tank 4 side by side and the lower end part of the inflow chamber 5 and the inside of the outflow chamber 7 are made to communicate with each other by a communicative path 11. Up to a liquid surface A0 at which an inlet 11a of the communicative path 11 is closed, cleaning liquid A is housed, and a fan 9 is operated to make the pressure of the outflow chamber 7 negative, allowing the liquid surface on the inflow chamber 5 side to be lowered to a liquid surface A1 to expose the inlet 11a. Then polluted gas and the cleaning liquid are sucked to mix and agitate them in the communicative path 11, thereby removing the pollutant.</p> |
