PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exert a proper select return function with a relatively simple structure. SOLUTION: For a selecting action, the extension sections of spring members 24, 25 are displaced at the lower section, reaction is applied upward from the extension sections, i.e., select return reaction is transferred from the spring members 24, 25 to a neutral position from a 5-R select position. Since the tilt angleβof the extension section of the spring members 24, 25 on the 5-R select position side to a vertical rod side is larger than the tilt angleαof the spring member 24 on a 1-2 select position side, the load state of the spring members 24, 25 on the 5-R select position side to the vertical rod is larger than the load state of the spring members 24, 25 on the 1-2 select position side, and the generated select return reaction of the springs 24, 25 on the 5-R select position side is made larger than that on the 1-2 select position side.
