PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of a rotary-type labeler without increasing the rotation speed of a rotary drum for holding a label. SOLUTION: The rotary-type labeler includes bottle mounts provided at equal intervals along a circumferential direction on a rotary body 2 and a rotary drum 10 placed outside the rotary body 2. When rotation speed BA of a container 8, circumferential speed BB of an outer diameter of the container 8 and an outer circumferential speed DV of the rotary drum 10 are in a relation of BA+BB>=DV, it is possible to wind and stick a label 60 to an outer peripheral face of the container 8. Two rotary drums 10 are placed, and containers 8 on the bottle mounts are brought into different rotary drums 10A, 10B alternately to transfer the label 60. When the container 8 is in contact with an end of the label 60, the container 8 and the rotary drums 10 are rotated in the speed relation, and after the label is transferred, the rotation speed of the container 8 is increased to a larger speed than twice the speed BA that is, 2BA+α.
