PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material excellent in color forming properties, reduced in background fog against heat and excellent in plasticizer resistance and oil resistance. SOLUTION: In a thermal recording material wherein a thermal color forming layer based on a colorless or light-colored color forming compd. and a coupling compd. capable of allowing the color forming compd. to form a color at a time of heating is provided on a support, 2,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone as the coupling compd., 2-(2'-hydroxy-5'-methylphenyl)benzotriazole as a hot-melt compd. (sensitizer) and synthetic paraffin wax as a stabilizer are added to the thermal color forming layer. |
