<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding cassette whereby even in the case of changing a size of a paper sheet received in a cassette body even in the case of a large number of maximum loading sheets of the received paper sheets, by an elastic member of single kind, always by desired pressing force, to a lower part of a paper feeding roller, the uppermost paper is pressed, a paper conveying system can be stabilized. SOLUTION: In a paper feeding cassette mounted in an image recorder to press the uppermost paper sheet of a large number of sheets of paper sheets 30 received to be loaded to a paper feeding roller 31 to deliver the paper sheet, a bottom part of a cassette body 10 is provided with a press up plate 22 able to vertically swivel with a paper feeding upstream base part serving as a support point 4 and an elastic member 23 pressing the uppermost paper sheet of the cassette body to the paper feed roller 31, an adjusting means 60 is provided, which can adjust pressing force by changing a mounting length A of the elastic member 23.</p> |
