PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable calling more attention of a user to the arrival of replacement time of a filter. SOLUTION: In an ionic air cleaner in which a flow of ions is generated by potential difference applied to between ionization rays and counter electrodes and also dust in gas is positively charged to collect it on a filter, there are provided a timer circuit 55 for integrating operation time of this device the moment a power source unit is turned on and a LCD indicator unit 7 for comparing integrated time information D1 from the timer circuit 55 with previously set filter replacement time information D1 to indicate replacement time by a picture. As filter replacement time approaches, picture indication in the LCD indication unit 7 is stepwise increased.
