<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent voltage drop in a driving voltage for heating dots on a thermal head and to markedly improve printing quality by adequately driving the heating dots. SOLUTION: This circuit comprises an operation circuit 5 that calculates the number of energizing dots of each heating element on a thermal head 3 from a driving control signal on the basis of a printing signal to output it as correction data and a voltage correction circuit 7 that outputs a correction voltage, which is obtained by adding a voltage drop to a power source voltage supplied from a switching power source 2 on the basis of the correction data outputted from the operation circuit 5, to the thermal head 3.</p> |
