SOLUTION: When the contamination data are larger than a reference value (S1), the contamination data in the present detection are compared with those in the preceding detection stored in a continuation buffer (S5). When the absolute value of the difference is >=2, the change in the resistance value is calculated from contamination data in the present detection (S6), and a contamination buffer is renewed (S6), and a contamination buffer is updated (S7). When the absolute value of the difference in (S6) is <=1, the variation is fudged to be due to the fluctuation, the change in the resistance value is calculated from the contamination data in the preceding detection stored in the contamination buffer (S8), and the contamination buffer is not updated.
