PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a fiber-reinforced foamed resin molding by which it is possible to manufacture a molding of large thickness using a fiber aggregate such as cloth, mat, roving or the like and under a very simple device configuration even in a small space as well as a device for manufacturing this resin molding. SOLUTION: An appropriate amount of bundled pieces of glass roving 5 are extracted, and a stock solution 6 of foam curable resin is uniformly sprayed to the glass roving 5 from a nozzle 1, and further, this coated glass roving 5 is caused to pass through a nip between a pair of rollers 2 under pressure. After that, a take-up jig 3 is rotated while impregnating the bundled pieces of glass roving 5 with the stock solution 6 of foam curable resin to be taken up between transverse bar member 8, 8 and thus a roll 13 of glass roving 5 with a specified thickness is formed. Next, the take-up jig 3 retaining the roll 13 is placed on a framework 10 and a lid 11 is set between lateral wall members 7, 7. In addition, a pressure P is applied to the lid 11 depending upon necessity and the stock solution 6 of foam curable resin is cured with foaming in such a state that the lid 11 is placed as described. After the curing of the foamed resin, the roll 13 is removed with the transverse bar member 8 and both end parts of the roll 13 are cut to obtain a final molding. |
