PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide deodorizing and antibacterial action in at least an exposed surface inside a room so as to purify air inside the room by forming a titanium oxide coated film in at least the exposed side of a weather strip attached to the body panel or door panel of a car. SOLUTION: A welt part 2a U-shaped in section is attached so as to sandwich a body panel 1, a hollow seal part 2b is provided in the car outer side thereof and a lip 2c is provided in a cabin. A titanium oxide coated film 4 is formed in the cabin exposed surface 3 of a weather strip 2 provided in the body panel 1 or a door panel, i.e., a part excluding the hollow seal part 2b. Since this titanium oxide coated film 4 oxide-decomposing an organic material by photocatalyst reaction using very weak ultraviolet rays as energy, it is contacted with air inside the cabin to provide deodorizing and antibacterial action. Also, the titanium oxide coated film 4 provide some deodorizing and antibacterial action even if it is formed on the surface of the hollow seal part 2b inside the cabin. |
