PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the tip of a guide wire from penetrating the side hole of a medical tube in a medical operation for treating intestinal atresia by providing a substantially linear base end part, and a tip end part and arranging an intermediate part, which is previously formed into a multiple curved shape, between the base end part and the tip end part. SOLUTION: This guide wire 11 to be suitably used for treatment of intestinal atresia and the like is extended from a linear base end part 4 to a tip part, 6 via an intermediate part 5 provided with the first-third curved parts 1-3. The first and third curved parts 1, 3 are provided with radiuses of curvature in the same direction, while the second curved part, 2 is provided with that in the different direction from those of the first and third curved part, so that the tip part 6 is positioned on an extension line 7 of the axis of the base end part 5. In the guide wire 11, the intermediate part 5 and the tip part 6 are formed by covering a tapering metallic core metal 8 with a synthetic resin layer 9, and a coil 10 made of platinum, gold or the like for radiography is wound on the tip part of the core metal 8. |
