PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composite food covering an outer periphery of a raw material for cake of pounded fish-like food with a raw material for boiled fish paste-like food, not collapsing the inner raw material for cake of pounded fish-like food in chewing nor flying out of an ingredient material, and further giving excellent pasting property of batter in making a fry by adopting a specific structure. SOLUTION: This composite food 10, in which an outer periphery of a raw material for cake of pounded fish-like food 11 is covered with a raw material for boiled fish paste-like food 12 and a groove 13 is formed on an outer periphery of the component 12, is obtained by shaping an outer periphery of air bubbles-containing ground fish meat, containing an ingredient such as cheese, as necessary, so as to be covered with bubbleless ground fish meat by an extruder, etc., providing a spiral groove formed at a prescribed pitch or annular grooves formed at a prescribed interval on an outer periphery of the shaped material, or providing parallel grooves of finite lengths formed at a prescribed interval on opposed flat faces of the outer periphery in the case that the food has an elliptical cross section, and heat-solidifying the material by a normal method. |
