PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject covering material having moderate air and moisture permeability for preserving the quality and deliciousness of natto in a container and also having sufficiently high tear strength against external stress. SOLUTION: This covering material for fermented food containers is obtained by laminating a porous polyolefin-based film with a polyamide-based nonwoven fabric via an adhesive; wherein the adhesive is only partly applied to the boundary between the film and the nonwoven fabric. This covering material has a moisture permeability of 300-1,300 g/m<2> .24 h, air permeability of 8,000-32,000 s/100 cc, and tear strength of >=300 g. |
