PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save electricity required in such a step for changing kinds of articles to be packaged during a stand-by time by providing a control means that interrupts heating of an electric heater when a stand-by exceeds a specified period of time during a period of stand-by time at a delivery part whereto packaged articles are delivered from a packaging part. SOLUTION: In a control means 71 that controls entire operation of a tray packaging apparatus, a heater control program for a delivery part 13 that delivers packaged articles is included. So long as trays are supplied successively on the above-mentioned program within a time before start of electricity-saving, a packaging mode is executed. In the case where no tray is supplied for packaging, the temperature of an electric heater at the delivery part 13 is controlled under an electricity-saving mode, based on the temperature detected by a temperature sensor 33 at the delivery part, on passing over the time for starting electricity-saving after elapse of stand-by time. Therefore, when stand-by between a preceding packaging motion and a succeeding packaging motion passes over the time for starting electricity-saving, the electric heater is not heated excessively during the stand-by after start of electricity-saving, and saving of electricity can be achieved. |
